My little black beauty in her very tight space, that I maneuver in like a boss every time.
Of course last night a clutch component broke and spilled fluid everywhere.

Sounds like a slave cylinder. My Hyundai’s went out a few weeks ago. I was limping it along for a few days topping it off and bleeding it before and after work and hoping to find a window to get it to the shop. Finally it just blew out and dumped a quart of DOT all over the parking lot at work. Thankfully it wasn’t my garage floor. Depending on the transmission design it could be an easy fix if it is outside of the bell housing. In my case it required removing the clutch so I replaced the clutch too. Good luck, hope it is a simple repair! Here’s my flatbed photo.

Those speed 3s do go through clutches. (But that’s only because they are f’n awesome.) Are you thinking about one of the up spec clutches available? I’m on my 2nd on my basically stock NA 2.3 - curious if the aftermarket clutches are any more durable or feel any different.
